Job Overview: Overseas Adventure Travel is seeking a skilled and
dynamic Virtual Sales Supervisor with experience in managing remote
teams within the travel and tourism industry. This fully remote
role involves leading a team of sales agents who focus on
delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales
goals. The ideal candidate has robust leadership abilities,
experience with travel industry systems (GDS like Amadeus and
Sabre), and a proven track record of managing virtual teams in a
fast-paced sales environment.Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of remote sales agents,
ensuring high-quality performance and goal attainment.
- Monitor and evaluate sales metrics, such as conversion rates,
average handle time, and customer satisfaction, implementing
strategies to exceed targets.
- Handle escalated customer or sales inquiries virtually,
ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs for agents, enhancing
product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Conduct regular virtual performance reviews, providing
feedback, celebrating successes, and addressing areas for
improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and
Marketing, using virtual tools to ensure seamless coordination and
issue resolution.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in virtual
sales and remote team management.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales supervisory role,
preferably managing remote teams in the travel and tourism
industry.
- Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as
Amadeus or Sabre is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of
developing high-performing remote teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to coach and inspire a virtual team.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales software, and remote
collaboration tools.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging
sales situations diplomatically and tactfully.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced virtual
environment.Key Requirements:

to meet operational needs.
