Overview The Senior Director of US TTR Patient Team Lead will
lead the Patient strategy and execution for the US TTR franchise.
This is a key role on the US TTR Marketing team, that is bringing
an industry leading TTR Franchise to market. You will lead key
cross functional initiatives, manage the US Patient Team of 6-8
marketers, and be a core member of the US TTR Marketing leadership
team. Our team is at the forefront of commercializing an
industry-leading TTR Franchise, with a focus on preparing for the
potential launch of Vutrisiran in cardiomyopathy while continuing
to establish market leadership for ONPATTRO (patisiran) and
AMVUTTRA (vutrisiran) in polyneuropathy. If approved, Vutisiran is
anticipated to emerge with a market-leading profile in ATTR-CM,
offering a unique mechanism of action and the potential for a
highly impactful clinical profile in a rapidly growing market with
significant unmet patient needs. The Senior Director of Marketing
US TTR is a high performing, driven, highly collaborative and
humble individual, who is committed to people, people development
and cross-functional partnership. The position is a hybrid position
located in Cambridge, MA or remote.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Performance:
- Develop and execute the US patient strategy across multiple
indications, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as
patient services, patient advocacy, market access, and business
operations.
- Oversee the execution of all US marketing tactics and programs
directed towards patients, caregivers, and patient services.
- Lead the patient services marketing team to develop essential
patient materials and platforms.
- Strategically guide the patient ambassador program and ensure
alignment with advocacy and engagement teams.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving TTR treatment
landscape and contribute insights from customer interactions and
market research.
- Metrics and Analytics:
- Define and implement KPIs to measure the success of patient
programs.
- Develop executive-level presentations that track performance
and outcomes of key initiatives.
- Continuously analyze program results to inform future
strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership to the Patient Marketing team, fostering a
culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance on career
development, skills enhancement, and professional growth.
- Set clear objectives aligned with overall marketing goals and
mentor team members in their professional development.
- Promote collaboration and value diverse perspectives within the
team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Ensure compliant execution of marketing initiatives by
collaborating with legal, regulatory, and compliance
stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across various internal
functions and external partners, managing contracts, budgets, and
timelines effectively.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in commercial marketing or consulting
within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Extensive experience in specialty or biotech product
management, including direct-to-consumer advertising across various
media channels, particularly TV.
- Deep understanding of the US healthcare environment with a
proven ability to execute strategies in compliance with industry
regulations.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, particularly within
matrixed environments.
- Expertise in managing digital marketing channels and driving
strategies in highly competitive markets.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing external agencies, vendors,
